I like FOUNDATION READING LIBRARY best.
In this story, the students in the school of Bayview are main characters.
They have various personalities, so you will enjoy reading this series.
I will introduce 5 books from this series.

First book is, 「Who's Best?」

"All the girls want to go out with Scott!"(p. 10)

This book is my first book which I read this series for the first time. Scott is gentle for girls but is not gentle for boys a little. I think it is written about what important do you think, looks or mind of people.

Second book is, 「Kung Fu Kid」

"That boy can't fight you. You are bigger than he is. You'll hurt him."(p. 6)

It is Adib's first day in the kung fu class. Then, he sees Mike and Scott who are big fight with only smaller boys. He thinks they will get hurt these boys. Later, Adib tries to protect these boys from Mike and Scott.
When I read this, I thought Adib is brave. He is gentle man in 「Who's best?」 , too.

Third book is, 「Do It!」

"I don't want to work with you on any presentation!"(p. 11)

Ryan and Kenji think about this each other. It is because Ryan who is good at playing basketball is angry with Kenji who can't play it well in gym class and they hate each other. But the teacher ask them to do presentation together. Actually, Kenji can study well.
This opposite of personality make this story interesting. I like this story.

Fourth book is,「The lost Wallet」

"Hey, there's a wallet. Maybe there's some money in it."(p. 9)

One day, the teacher who John and Eric don't like drops his wallet. The boys sees it and pick it up. John wants to fix his broken skateboard and Eric wants a guitar. So Eric tries to use much money in teacher's wallet, But John is angry with him and says not to use it.
You can know importance of saying "No" to people who try to do something bad.

Finally, fifth book is 「Trouble at Sea」

"Who did this to you?"(p. 11)

One day, the students find dolphins, birds which are covered with black oil. Then, the students try to seek a person who pour black oil.
I thought actions of the students are good and strong. You can learn about protection of environment.

There are many interesting books else in this series. I nearly read this series' books. Whatever you read is enjoyable even if the level is high.
